Bi-metal belt is composed of a carrier band made out of special steel with an HSS layer (welded onto the carrier band) with teeth cut into it..
M 42 - universal saw band useful for wide range of materials including tool steels and stainless steels of up to 45 HRC.
The saw teeth are made with HSS-M42 steel with an addition of cobalt.
M 51 - saw band for tool and stainless steels of up to 50 HRC. The saw teeth are made with HSS-M42 steel with an addition of cobalt and tungsten.
